Mission:

Genesis House Guild was formed with the goal of spreading awareness of the mission of Genesis House, Inc. and to expand our volunteer base in the area of fundraising.  Genesis House, Inc. provides transitional shelter for homeless women and their children, long-term housing for student mothers with children, and shelter for homeless pregnant women. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, caring environment, to include education, self-discipline, and self-reliance; we earnestly promote independence from the welfare system. Counseling, personal improvement classes, and appropriate health care are provided to all residents, with courses in childbirth and parenting provided as needed.
